How this site treats you
The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does no tracking. There are no forms. You give us information only by choosing to email us — or by talking to our chat assistant, which is covered below.
Who we are
Swansea Digital builds websites and AI tools for local businesses in Swansea, South Wales. For anything in this notice, contact info@swanseadigital.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing personal. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts and no contact forms. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain. The one exception is the chat assistant — our own service, running on our own Cloudflare account, protected by Cloudflare's bot check — and it is covered below.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data — such as your IP address and browser type — in short-lived logs to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
If you email us
We hold your email address and what you send us so we can reply and, if we end up working together, manage that work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (answering your enquiry) and, for clients, the contract between us. We never sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or project, plus a reasonable period for business records. If you'd like it deleted sooner, just ask.
If you use our chat assistant
The chat window on this site is an AI assistant, and it says so. It answers only from facts we've given it. Your messages are processed to generate replies, and if you leave your name and phone number so we can call you back, we keep those details to do exactly that. The widget stores a session ID in your browser so the conversation works — nothing else, and no advertising or analytics ride along. Conversations are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used — email us and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
